Kids Race

The Wheel 2 Heal Kid’s race course for kids 3-8 is designed and managed by our good friends at Pedalheads.

Registration is FREE. For each child that pre-registers and raises $20 for Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation will receive a swag bag full of kid-friendly and bike-friendly goodies. All children will receive a certificate of participation.

Children are permitted to race with run bikes, trikes, training wheel or two wheels – whatever they are experienced and comfortable with. Children must have snug-fitting helmets less than 5 years old to participate. Helmets will be checked quickly on site and if your child’s helmet does not meet safety requirements, they will not be permitted to race. Some helmets will be available for sale on site from Cap’s Westwood Cycle.

Children will race in age categories. Children 3-5 will race 500 m. Children 6-8 will race 1 km.

Race course will be marked with cones and be flat. Safety is our #1 concern! Fun is our #1 goal!

Registration will also be open at the event for walk-ins. Arrive at least 30 minutes prior for registration.

10:30 AM – PoCo Trail courses depart (15km, 30km or 40km)

11:30 AM – PoCo Trail Family course depart (15km)

11:30 AM – Kids Race (3 years)

11:45 AM – Kids Race (4 years)

12:00 PM – Kids Race (5 years)

12:15 PM – Kids Race (6 years)

12:30 PM – Kids Race (7 years)

12:45 PM – Kids Race (8 years)

12:45 PM – Kids Race (8 years)
